Very close to Midi (Zuid) station so handy to travel around on trains and metro. Staff friendly and helpful. We had a triple room for 2 of us (we usually have twin room but booked a triple for the space). Enough space to put 2 suitcases out of the way. Bathroom was reasonable size and shower stall was easy to walk into and use. Water temperature was constant which was great, and pressure was good. Towels changed every day. Very quiet and soundproofing good as could not hear other rooms at all. Reported blown light at door the first day and this was changed by the next day which was great as lights in room not very bright and you needed them all on. Only 1 chair in room so asked for another one which was provided within 24 hours. Not sure about TV as we did not use it.

The location was excellent with it being opposite Gare du Midi railway station where Eurostar trains arrive and depart from. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, and it actually had a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were delicious, as were the other food items available, which included baked beans, bread, croissants, fresh fruit, yoghurt, and cereals. There is a small supermarket a couple of doors down on the right, but it is not open until late. That's also where the local cafés and restaurants are located, which sell mainly burgers and kebabs. There is also an Italian restaurant there.

Right next to Brussels Midi station which is convenient for the Eurostar, lots of tram & bus stops around too. The room and bathroom were pretty standard, but comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly. Great breakfast buffet. Free wifi in rooms. 15-20 minute walk into the centre of Brussels, a few shops and fast food places dotted around the hotel and inside the station. Luggage lockers were super handy, I left my suitcase after checking out which cost €4 for the day. (only accepts coins though). On Sunday morning there was a huge market right outside, full of clothes, fruit etc

Location is excellent for those who travel via Gare du Midi - you just come out of Gare and you are at the hotel. Very good for those who catch early train/ flight. Staff is very helpful and welcoming. I took a room for three persons to have some more space - and it was worth it. Otherwise the hotel totally complies with IBIS standards. I read a lot of comments on Booking about issues with some unpleasant strangers when you leave the hotel. I left at 20.00 , went to the Grande Place on foot and came back - experienced no problem.

Marina

Excellent place to stay if you are needing to catch trains/Eurostar. Exiting station by track 22 you cross the road, turn left and walk 1 minute and you are there. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was small but ok for overnight. Lots of pillows supplied on the bed - heaven! We were able to store our luggage while exploring the city. Need coins for the lockers. As we arrived late we didn't want to go out - had a drink and pizza ordered from the bar at the hotel - can recommend . And was not expensive.
